Only use pure lye.

Work in a well ventilated area.

The fumes that rise when lye is mixed with water during the first few minutes can irritate the lungs. Some people are more sensitive to it than others, but a well ventilated area is recommended to anyone. Remember even if it doesn't bother you at the moment, repeated exposure may bring about a different story. Larger batches of soap are usually give off more potent fumes than smaller ones.

Use an accurate scale.

Never measure your ingredients by volume because it can lead to inaccuracies, leaving you with an irritating "lye heavy" soap. The best materials to use are stainless steel and heavy duty dishwasher safe plastics. (Even wooden spoons will do, though the lye water will slowly eat at them over time. I lost a good spoon that way!) Some people even recommend using large glass Pyrex measuring cups. However, I personally can't. I have heard of rare instances where even sturdy Pyrex glass has shattered- in one case I heard of, no one was even in the same room when it happened! In a way it makes sense. Lye water, when first mixed, can reach very high temperatures in an absurdly small amount of time. Then on top of it, over time the potent lye itself may do it's damage. Over time it may make the glass brittle and create stress on it, though unseen to the human eye.

Use distilled water instead of tap.

Some people say it's alright to use regular tap water for soapmaking. In most cases, it probably is fine... However tap water can contain various trace metals and minerals that may interact with your lye, giving some unexpected results in your finished soaps. Once again, much better to be safer than sorry!

Mind your pour!

Always make sure to close the container of lye tightly when you're done. Any moisture that gets in contact with the lye granules will form clumps, which may increase the chance of spills while pouring next time you use it. It may even effect your soap by giving you inaccurate weighings of your ingredients in the end, if enough gets in there. Pouring slowly so you get it right the first shot and don't have to put any back is also wise. Another thing that can be a hassle sometimes when pouring to weigh your lye is static... Lye sometimes gets a "charge" and granules here and there seem to have a mind of their own when being poured! A quick wiping of the container you'll be weighing with a dryer sheet first helps with a smoother pour.

Always use a lye calculator- no matter what.

Never assume a recipe that someone gives you, that you find online, or come across in a book is safe. Stay away from painted surfaces.

It's best not to do your soapmaking on any painted surfaces. Lye can easily strip paint and damage surfaces. Even on kitchen counters made with a tougher surface material, it's a good idea to lay down some plastic or freezer paper to protect the area you're working in. Remember to always keep that vinegar handy as well, just in case!

Because, as they explain Mexicans are lazy, because they have learned it from Americans and now wish to kick-back and collect free monies from the government or do the minimal and get paid for it. Some Americans who hire Hispanics wish to hire workers from Guatemala for this reason. Surely, most Americans are slackers, but not all Americans are. This is the point that Mexicans make when confronted with this issue. FIRST......Put your boot floppy disk in the floppy drive and turn on the PC.On some machines, you may have to access the bios and select the Boot priority to your A: drive.

Save any changes and select "Start machine without CDROM support" and press Enter.Once you are at the A prompt,type dir c: and press enter.

If your programs and other files are present,try restoring your system Registry by following the steps below.This may repair Windows,the Config. Sys and autoexec.bat files to where the PC may boot up normally.When the files are present,its a good indication of a good hard drive.

Making A Windows XP Bootable Floppy

Windows XP users should create a boot disk now by placing a formatted blank diskette in the A: drive, open Windows Explorer to the C:,select Tools,Folder Options ,show Hidden files and and folders,then View Tab.

They want justice to prevail. Fine, same goes for your life story. Tell me you're in a job you hate, going nowhere, feeling awful, and I'll sympathise. But hey, you tell me the same thing next week and I'll be thinking 'Doesn't this story have a happy ending?' Or, 'If it's so bad, why doesn't s/he stop putting up with it and start doing something about it?'

Here's your problem. A reason that worked yesterday is not necessarily going to be still good tomorrow! Sorry. People get bored. They get inspired by hearing about other people struggling against the odds and overcoming adversity, but that means, at some time or other, you're going to have to climb out of that hole not wallow in it for ever!

Here's a real-life example. Here in England we're used to living with the shame of the fact that 40% of our young people leave school at 16 with no qualifications whatsoever. No certificates, no exams passed, no subjects studied and absorbed. Maybe these kids think 'it doesn't matter' and they'll 'get a job anyway'. Big surprise. Employers don't like it, and if they've got a choice between the youngster with the certificates and the one without, well, which one would you you choose? That's right, which is one reason why the person with no bits of paper to their name finds recurring problems in finding work and keeping it. Now there might be all sorts of reasons for how this situation came about, and yes, it might have something to do with the media, and too much TV and not enough books in the house, and the pressure of pop culture with 'role models' of singers and football players. The point, of course, is that it's a sickness with a cure. In this country we have the 'Careers Office' which is open to anyone up to the age of 25 for advice, especially about college courses and adult training. Also, that's recently merged into a bigger department, with so-called 'Connexions' advisors (right spelling!), who work with teenagers in or out of school. So, no excuse, right? You've got no qualifications, okay, I get it it's all your parents' fault, or it was the school, or the area in which you lived. Fine, blame them. My question is this: what are you going to do about it now? It's simple. If you've left school at 16 with no qualifications then I'm interested in the reasons behind that and the obvious struggles you must have had, growing up. But if you've still got nothing at 21, don't give me your excuses. It's your choice.

Finally, here's another distinction between the two words. When you wake up tomorrow, what will happen? If you bound out of bed and get going, odds are that you'll have a reason. If you stay in bed, it's more likely that you'll have an excuse. What could be clearer than that? More important, which one would you prefer in your life right now?

The first matter is the inherent essence within every object. Although it may take different shapes, in itself, it never changes. The first factor, the essence, the bedrock, our genetic code, is within us from the very start. Hence, we are unable to change or affect it.

2. Unchangeable Qualities

Do you want to create ads that really sell?

The one glaring mistake that I see over and over again is that the headlines dont make the reader want to read the rest of the ad.

Here is the main reason your ad fails. Nobody saw it. The headline didnt attract attention. As a reader skims over the paper, they are looking at headlines. This is usually done on auto-pilot. Your headline has to trigger a laser like focus of attention or the reader really wont see the ad.

Here is another reason that your ad failsNobody is reading it. And the reason nobody is reading the ad is that the headline doesnt make you want to read it.

The headlines purpose is to Grab the reader by the face and make them Captain Action attention.

But the headline must do more it must target the person you want to read the ad. Heres an example; Several years ago there was an advertiser that had, as the headline, the word SEX in big letters. It did get the readers attention.

Right after the headline, the ad said Now that I have your attention and went on to sell auto parts or something similar. The ad didnt work because it angered the reader.

The person who was attracted by the headline wasnt interested in auto parts, and the auto parts buyer wasnt pulled-in by the headline. A complete waste of advertising money.

It attracted the wrong reader. If it would have just said AUTO PARTS it would have worked better.

You want the headline to attract the exact person that would be a buyer of your productand nobody else.

For example: Lets say you are advertising a new air purifier. You are going to run an ad in the newspaper.

Who would be prime prospects for your product?

Maybe allergy sufferers? People with pets with allergies? (dont laugh. Many people are more concerned about the pets allergies than their own..or their childrens)

How about For Families With Allergy Sufferers; And Nobody Else?

Doesnt the headline set the allergy sufferer apart? No who would read such a headline? Allergy sufferers.

By the way, the word For pulls the reader into the ad. It implies that the reader gets something.

Have you ever read a Personals ad? Go to any online dating site and you can see all kinds of ads. After you get over the novelty of a dating site, study what they say.
